Scones, a Breakfast Favourite


Weekends are the time for awesome breakfasts. One of our favourites is scones. We have so many different variations, but this one happened last weekend when we ran out of milk. This is definitely one of our new favourite recipes


100ml Cream
100ml Yougurt
2 Tbsp Milk
1 Egg
2 Tbsp Castor Sugar
2 Cups self raising flour


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees C
  2. Mix the cream, yogurt and egg
  3. Mix flour, castor sugar in a bowl
  4. Add Milk mix and stir
  5. Pat out to 2 inch thick and cut out scones
  6. bake for 12-15 min
1. You can make this recipe with 200 ml yogurt and no cream
2. If the dough is too dry.  You can add a teaspoon or so of extra milk
